It is my pleasure to welcome you all to the start of another academic year at Ermine Primary! I hope that, over the coming weeks and months that the children will not only learn a great deal, but have fun and find or continue a love of learning at the same time! Every single teacher works hard to ensure that each term is filled with exciting experiences that are designed to give every child what they need to do their best and stay enthusiastic through the year. As always, we have many trips and visitors lined up to look forward to as well as the opportunity for parents and carers to come into classrooms and celebrate the achievements at the end of each unit with the children. I hope you will join us in supporting the children to do as well as they possibly can and help them with their weekly reading, spelling and mental arithmetic homework! Here’s to a happy and successful year!
Welcome also to any new pupils who have started with us in September. We have a school website which you can visit on – please click the image below. We also have a dedicated Facebook and Twitter account – please search for Ermine Primary Academy and follow us.
Children’s University and after-school clubs
Hopefully you managed to get involved with some of the activities on offer by places in and around the Lincoln area over the summer break, and obtain a stamp at the same time! All our clubs will be starting next week, so make sure you take a moment to have a look at letters that will be appearing in book bags over the coming days and sign up! All clubs will be verified by the Children’s University so a stamp is guaranteed! Start collecting as soon as possible!
Many thanks for the fantastic display of uniform! Judging by the first few days back, all pupils at the school are suited and booted appropriately and looking incredibly smart. Thank you everyone! If you are unsure about anything to do with uniform, including jewelry, please contact the office.
Ermine Friend's Group (EFG)
Every year our amazing friends group, made up of parents and carers, does a fantastic job of organising and running fund-raising events for the school. Those funds are vital in ensuring the children get the best possible experience at school. If anyone thinks they can spare some time and volunteer to join our group, please let the office know. We would love to hear from you!
If you or your daughter would like to know more about joining Guiding please visit the website by clicking the image below or call 0800 1 69 59 01.
